Install Cookie consent in Chrome
Add Cookie consent from the Chrome Web Store and it starts working as you browse: cookie forms are answered for you and the banners covering the page are cleared. No account, no setup.
Coming soon to Chrome Web Store
We’re preparing the store listing. The install button will become available after publication.
After installing
A short welcome page shows how to pin the icon. After that, just keep browsing — pause and settings are always within reach.
Permissions it asks Chrome for
Chrome shows exactly these at install time. There are no others.
- storage — local settings, exceptions and the optional activity list.
- activeTab — identifies the tab behind a toolbar click.
- alarms — runs the one-hour pause timer.
- scripting — lets the extension act in the pages you visit.
- http and https access — needed to handle consent forms automatically as pages load.
Requires Chrome 124 or newer on desktop. There is no mobile or Firefox version.
Where it cannot work
Chrome’s own pages, the Web Store, other extensions’ pages and some sandboxed frames cannot be handled. The extension says so rather than failing silently.
