Pause for an hour or stop automatic handling on the current site. Your choices stay within reach.
Preferences stay in your Chrome profile. This is not a tracker blocker or a tool for deleting stored cookies. Unfamiliar consent forms may still need your choice.
Cookie banners: common questions
How does the automatic rejection work?
As a page loads, Cookie consent recognises the site’s own cookie form and declines the optional categories for you; strictly necessary cookies stay with the site. There is nothing to configure first.
Do the cookie banners and pop-ups actually go away?
Recognised forms are handled using your choices, while separate cleanup helps remove leftover banners and on-page overlays. Undo reverses cleanup, not a choice already submitted to a site.
Can I turn it off for one website?
Yes. Disable automatic handling for the current site while leaving it on elsewhere, or pause it everywhere for an hour. Category choices in Settings apply across the extension.
What does it send?
Apart from the signed catalog update, only a page report you explicitly confirm leaves your browser: the page HTML, its address, title, your optional comment and technical diagnostics. The service keeps reports for 30 days. There is no telemetry.
